Get your sweat on while assisting our students! Staff, students and community members are encouraged to support Fitness and Health Promotion students by joining their free lunchtime group fitness classes.
Starting Monday, September 16, 2024, classes will run Monday-Thursday from 12:30-1:15 pm in room A1080 at ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½. There is no cost to attend and all classes are drop-in - you don't need to register!
Through these classes, our students will further develop the knowledge and skills they have gained through their learning, and your participation will be an important part of this growth. View more details and the schedule below.

Fitness Class Information

This class will get your heart rate up and build cardio stamina and muscular endurance like no other! Each round features weighted exercises, cardio, and core.
Instructor: Lisa Maidra
Choreo Cardio
It’s a high-energy, easy to learn, calorie-burning, choreographed workout. In this class, you will sweat out your stress with diverse movements that focus on improving your cardio health. No dance experience necessary!

Back to Basics Circuit
This station-based class features basic exercises for the upper body, lower body, core, and cardio. A variety of equipment and body weight resistance will be used.
Instructor: Heather Pusch
Walk & Box
This moderate-intensity, low-impact class is designed to get your body moving and help improve your cardio. The class will combine low-impact walking steps with fun boxing-inspired movements.
Instructor: Heather Pusch
Every class is modifiable to different abilities and fitness levels. Heather Pusch and Lisa Maidra are both certified Group Fitness Instructors.
Parking
Parking is available from Northern 1 or 2 Entrance in the A-Lot metered visitor parking, or from Willow 1 Entrance in the Daily Parking lot for $5 upon exit.
